Basic Eligibility
To be eligible for the Basic ROTC program, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
Citizenship
Must be a Filipino citizen.
Student Status
Must be currently enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program or Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Proof of enrolment must be attached.
Physical Fitness
Must be physically and mentally fit for military training. Medical records must be attached as supporting documentation.
Documentary Requirements
The following documents must be submitted to the ROTC office upon enrollment. Items marked or Photo Upload require a digital or physical copy.
Assessment Form
Provided by the CSU Registrar. Must be secured from the registrar's office before enrollment.
Medical Certificate
Issued by the campus clinic or an accredited hospital. Must confirm the applicant's fitness for military training.
Parental Consent / Waiver
A signed waiver or consent form is required, especially if the student is a minor.
Recent ID Photos
Photo Upload2×2 or 1×1 colored photos with a white background. Male applicants must have a neat military haircut. Photo will be used as the avatar profile.
School ID
Proof of being a bona fide student of the institution for the current semester.
Physical & Grooming Standards
The military maintains strict standards for appearance and health to ensure discipline and personal safety during drills and field training.
Grooming
- Male: Military cut required — 0-1 or 2-side haircut.
- Female: Hair must be tied neatly in a bun or worn with a hairnet.
Health Screening
- A basic physical examination will be conducted to check for conditions (e.g., asthma, heart conditions) that could be aggravated by intense physical activity.
